Brawley Farms began with Judy Blevins Brawley showing as a junior on the east coast. Today, Brawley Farms is THREE generations strong. Judy Brawley, son Bob and daughter Debbie, as well as grandson, Tommy Brawley. The Brawley team includes dressage trainer and barn manager Rosanna Caswell, and is augmented by a cast of truly professional assistant trainers and barn staff.

Judy Brawley
Owner/Trainer

Judy Brawley began riding as a child in Virginia. She showed through her junior years, and became a "Junior Professional" at 16 years old for Great Neck Stables. Later she married and moved to the Northwest, and has since operated a very successful hunter/jumper program for over 45 years, first in Washington state, and finally settling in Oregon. The Brawley farmily completed the current facility in Oregon in 1985. Their horses and students have shown coast to coast and internationally, from Calgary to California, winning many national awards.

After working with his mother Judy at the Oregon facility for 20 years, Bob Brawley moved to San Diego, California to open a top show barn in the Showpark Del Mar Facility. Judy and grandson Tommy Brawley continue the Brawley legacy at the Jefferson, Oregon facility, along with daughter Debbie Brawley, who recently opened a new facility in Oregon City, Oregon. In 2008, Joshua Brawley married well known trainer Kate Krum, and she is now a wonderful addition to the Brawley Farm staff as an Assistant Trainer.

Judy Brawley's success in communicating a practical and correct approach to common riding and schooling problems is evidenced in her tremendous success with both horse and rider in the show ring. The Brawley Farm system is based on strong dressage principles.
